WANTED: FBI and LASD seeking Trojan Horse Bandit wanted for five bank robberies in Bellflower & Downey (PHOTOS)

The FBI and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are seeking the public’s assistance by asking for information leading to the identity of an unknown male bank robber believed to be responsible for five bank robberies since September 2010 in Los Angeles County.

The bandit, described as an Hispanic male between the ages of 20-30; between 5’2” and 5’9,” in height and between 120-160 in weight, is known to law enforcement as the Trojan Horse Bandit since he has been described by witnesses as having worn University of Southern California (USC) Trojan team apparel.

The suspect, as can be seen in bank surveillance photographs being released to the media, changes his attire between robberies, and has been seen wearing different hats, gloves and glasses. Although no weapon has been seen during the robberies, the suspect has threatened a firearm and has threatened to shoot victims inside the bank.

The Trojan Horse Bandit has been linked to the following bank robberies in 2010:

09/14 Bank of America Bellflower
11/01 Bank of America Downey
11/12 Chase Bank Bellflower
12/06 Union Bank Bellflower
12/12 Union Bank Bellflower
