* IMPACTS: ICE ACCUMULATIONS TO ONE QUARTER INCH ARE EXPECTED... MAINLY THIS EVENING. THIS WILL CREATE DANGEROUS DRIVING CONDITIONS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW... SLEET... OR FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES... AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.

... SIGNIFICANT ICE ACCUMULATIONS EXPECTED IN NORTHEAST MIDDLE TENNESSEE TONIGHT... WITH ICE ACCUMULATIONS TO ONE QUARTER INCH ELSEWHERE IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

.A WINTER STORM WILL MOVE INTO MIDDLE TENNESSEE TONIGHT WITH FROZEN AND FREEZING PRECIPITATION. THERE WILL BE PERIODS OF LIGHT SNOW AND SLEET MIXED IN WITH FREEZING RAIN. EXPECT ICE ACCUMULATIONS TO ONE HALF INCH IN EXTREME NORTHEAST MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

WARMER AIR WILL MOVE INTO SOUTH MIDDLE TENNESSEE THIS EVENING AND CHANGE FREEZING RAIN TO RAIN. THE FREEZING LINE WILL MOVE INTO METRO NASHVILLE AROUND MIDNIGHT.
