1 inch of snow likely tonight, "significant" snow or rain over the weekend, per NWS.

NWS is predicting more precipitation this weekend, but cannot say whether it will be snow or rain. From NWS:

The next couple of days will be very interesting across the state with two weather systems. Today we will see sun in the morning with increasing clouds by afternoon as our weather system approaches the state. A clipper system will slide across the northern part of the state this evening and into tonight, producing a light snow accumulation. Expecting around 1” across northern Indiana and a light dusting across central. Southern Indiana should only see a few flurries.

The second of the weather systems will be our main concern. This will reach our state Saturday and into Sunday. As of right now, it’s too early to tell the exact path of the low pressure system and what precipitation it will bring. We will either see a significant snow fall, rain, or a mixture of rain and snow. The watch desk will continue to monitor the situation, and provide updates as necessary.
