Welcome to the Tyrone Police Department's new community alert system! What you are looking at is the future of the "Town Crier" and we are proud to be one of the first agencies in the country to provide this service to our citizens!

This new system gives us the tools to keep you informed in more ways and it is built on a more secure, more stable platform that will help to ensure you always get the intended message. Our "old" system was limited in that we could only send our message via email. Now we can send our message via email, text messaging, online, and on Twitter all from one location and the best part is that this service and all its technology are provided to us at no cost.

We invite you to join us on the new system and we look forward to using it to keep you better informed in the future. We will continue to post on both systems until the majority of our current members have had time to make the transition.
