New York Police Department Weighs In Against Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department And Los Angeles Police Department At 17th Annual Fight For Life Benefiting Cancer Research

WHO: Sheriff Lee Baca, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department; Chief Charlie Beck, Los Angeles Police Department; Lieutenant Dave Siev, New York Police Department; Kathleen Kane, Executive Vice President, Development and External Relations, City of Hope; and Alan Levy, Senior Vice President of Development, City of Hope.

WHAT: Sheriff Baca, Chief Beck and Lieutenant Siev, will announce the 17th Annual Fight for Life. This year, the New York Police Department will join the commitment to save lives by challenging Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies and Los Angeles Police Department officers in the boxing ring for an East versus West match. This one-of-a-kind boxing match will benefit cancer research and treatment programs at City of Hope, one of the nation’s leading research, treatment and education centers for cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
