THE OAK RIDGE NORTH POLICE DEPARTMENT CRIME ALERT
On 11/15/2010, there was a reported burglary in the area of Wickwood and Westwood. Officers arrived on the scene, checked the home, and found that the back door had been kicked open. The mark on the door appeared to have been made by a medium sized boot or work shoe. Neighbors saw no one in the area. Taken from the home were electronics and a computer. There was no other evidence at the scene. We would ask that folks take an extra minute to check their home security, locks and windows. The City of Oak Ridge North does not require a burglar alarm permit or fees. An alarm is a cheap, realiable way to notify the Police incase of an intrusion.
