OAK RIDGE NORTH POLICE DEPARTMENT COMMUNITY MESSAGE
At 8 am, Saturday, November 6th, 2010, at the Oak Ridge North Baptist Church, the Oak Ridge North Police Department will assist in the 2nd Annual "Braille Bicycle Ride". The event allows children who are blind to experience bicycling using tandem bicycles driven by a sighted person. The ride goes through Oak Ridge North, then into Chateau Woods and into White Oaks Estates. There, after a brief break and some games, the kids ride back to the church. It's a great event that the Officers truly enjoy. So tomorrow, if you see police cars and two seat bicycles on your street, hollar and wave at the kids.
