Daylight-savings time ends this Sunday, November 7th. The Cherry Valley Fire Department wants to remind you to change the batteries in your smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detectors when you change your clocks back this weekend. Thanks to the Energizer Company, the department is offering free batteries while supplies last. Pick yours up at the Fire Administration office at 202 E. State St. in Cherry Valley.
