November is National Diabetes Awareness Month, and Hi-Desert Medical Center is emphasizing the importance of early detection and disease management with a FREE health fair, “What You Need to know About Diabetes,” Saturday, November 6, from 9 a.m. to noon in the Helen Gray Education Center on the campus of Hi-Desert Medical Center.

Representatives from the American Heart Association will present on the link between diabetes and heart disease.

The fair will also feature free raffles, food and refreshments. Registration is NOT required; for more information, call 760/366-6324.
