Man Wanted for Armed Robbery
Jackson Police have identified the man responsible for a Monday, mid-day, armed robbery. Investigators have signed a warrant for the arrest of Carlos Cannon, age 24. He is now wanted for Aggravated Robbery. He is around 5' 6" and weighs about 220 pounds. His last known address is on Scottland Drive in Jackson.

Police are also looking for the newer model, dark -colored vehicle, possibly a Buick, which he was driving just before the robbery.

RECAP:
On Monday around 11:45 a.m., Jackson Police received a call of an armed robbery. A 41-year-old woman told police that a man approached her as she was
walking in the alley between Airways Boulevard and Gordon Street. He pointed a gun at her and demanded money. She complied and gave him her money.
The suspect was described as a black male in his twenties, wearing a green and white plaid jacket and white t-shirt.

The woman told police that just prior to the robbery; she was inside the convenience store at the corner of Airways Boulevard and North Fairgrounds Street and remembered the suspect watching her while she was inside the business.
Police obtained surveillance footage, which depicts the suspect pulling up in front of the business in a newer model, dark-colored vehicle, possibly a Buick. Images
also showed the suspect inside the store prior to the robbery.
