**Wilshire CAD** has an important message for the community!

**LAPD Wilshire Robbery Detectives are concerned about the rash of I phone robberies that are occurring city wide. These phones are expensive and easy to convert to another user due to using a sim card.

Detectives have been successful in recovering I phones and arresting suspects in several investigations where the victim had an application such as Mobile Me provided by Apple. This application allows the victim to work with detectives to find a phone using the GPS application. This system also allows the victim to wipe clean any data that may be sensitive to unauthorized users. The LAPD does not endorse any company or its applications and are merely giving the public options in protecting their phones and personal information**.
