Location: Remote area off of Morrison Canyon Rd
On October 17th two hikers located some human remains (bones) in a remote area off of Morrison Canyon Rd. This morning, Fremont Investigators along with Fremont Fire and members of the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting an extensive search of the area. Morrison Canyon Rd will be closed indefinitely to all but residents from Canyon Heights to the intersection with Vargas Rd.
The bones that were located appear to have been in the area for a relatively short period of time (1 to 2 years) and not that of a child.
