On Oct. 7, 2010, Officers dispatched to Lake Mead Drive on a report of two males on the roof with a rifle. By the time officers arrive, the subjects have gone back into the house. The two males are eventually contacted and it’s determined the rifle was only a BB gun. The owner of the house is very intoxicated and during a protective sweep of the house, his two year old child is located locked in a back bedroom. This door lock is on the outside of the bedroom door and obviously meant to keep the child inside. The house is in total disarray and officers quickly decide to place the child into protective custody. The “father”, is arrested for 273(a) pc.
