Ofc Manrique and FTO Gonzalez responded to a report of a suspicious circumstance on Action Ct. The victim had answered an ad in a Chinese newspaper that promised assistance with eradicating personal demons. The victim met with the demon eradicators, and over the course of a couple weeks provided them with money and jewelry to help her. The victim was not satisfied with the process and went to the Action Ct house to pick up the items she had given to the suspects. The victim soon realized the suspects could not really get the demons out, and her property was gone. Det. Carpenter was familiar with the suspects MO and responded to assist. The suspects are still outstanding.

Ofcr. Young continues to recover at Highland Hospital and is doing well. He underwent surgery yesterday to repair his bladder, and is expected to remain at Highland for at least another week.
