The USO 1st Annual Rock the Troops Benefit Concert April 5, 6 p.m. at P.J. Whelihan's on Route 70 in Cherry Hill
The Kirstein Family of Voorhees through their "Treats for the Troops" charity will be working to promote "The USO 1st Annual Rock the Troops Benefit Concert" on April 5 starting at 6 p.m. at P.J. Whelihan's on Route 70 in Cherry Hill. The event will also honor 25 wounded troops from Fort Dix who will be attending by limousines courtesy of Limopatrick and Treats for Troops. The show will feature world renowned Irish band "Blackthorn" courtesy of Lockheed Martin. Also, many giant plasma TV's will be broadcasting the Phillies opening game. Funds raised support Liberty USO, which serves Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey military members and their families. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door and can be purchased at any P.J.
