Congratulations to Chief James Paganessi on his upcoming retirement and his replacement Lt. Sebastian Donaruma. 
Congratulations are in order for Chief James Paganessi and Lt. Sebastian Donaruma. Chief Paganessi has announced his retirement at the end of 2009. Chief Paganessi served for 32 years working his way up through the ranks.
The Township Committee recently chose Lt. Sebastian Donaruma to fill the Chief's position. Lt. Donaruma is a 22 year veteran of the Readington Township Police Department and a recent graduate of the FBI National Academy.
During the upcoming month of December, Chief Paganessi and Lt. Donaruma will work together for a smooth transition of office.
