Tustin Police Department received the below information about an upcoming CPR and AED certification class from the Tustin Community Foundation. If you are interested in learning about how to save a life, here is information on these classes.

The Tustin Community Foundation and Doctor’s Ambulance are pleased to offer a CPR and AED Certification class to the community. Citizens and leaders of our com-munity, business owners, employees, students, parents and children, are urged to come and learn these life saving techniques.

300 Centennial Way, Tustin

In the time it takes you to read this, Sudden Cardiac Arrest will have claimed the life of a family member, friend or co-worker. Heartsaver AED is a classroom course that teaches basic CPR and AED skills such as:

Giving CPR to an infant, child, or an adult
Using an automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Using a mask or barrier device

During the course, an American Heart Association Instructor, provided by Doctor’s Ambulance, conducts video-based lessons and works with the participant to complete their CPR and AED skills, practice and skills testing. Upon completion of the course the participant will be given an American Heart Association Heartsaver AED Course Completion Card which is valid for two years.

Proceeds from the $25.00 donation, for the course, will be used to help fund grants awarded to the many non-profit organizations that Tustin Community Foundation supports.
