Bank robber. The Bubble Wrap Bandit. Recent Bank robberies in La Mirada, South Gate and Bell Gardens. 
A man who is believed to have previously robbed banks in South Gate and Bell Gardens, robbed the "Bank of the West" at Valley View Boulevard and Imperial Highway, La Mirada, on Tuesday, September 14, at 3:02PM. He has been dubbed the "Bubble Wrap Bandit" by the FBI.
He presented a note demanding money and said he had a gun. He left the bank with an unspecified amount of U.S. currency, and was last seen driving away in a red sedan.
The bank robber is described as a Male Hispanic or Samoan, 35-40 years old, 5' 10" - 6'00" tall, and 200-240 pounds. (See photos)
The suspect is also related to three other bank robberies in the area. Two banks were robbed in Bell Gardens (Nov. 25, 2009 and June 14, 2010), and one in South Gate (July 22, 2010).
Anyone with information as to identity or whereabouts of the Bubble Wrap Bandit is asked to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, the FBI, or call 911.
