On 9/12/10, North Hollywood Area detectives arrested Edwin Ernesto Cabrera for sexual battery charges. Cabrera has been charged with assaulting eleven elderly female residents of the San Fernando Valley between 9/13/09 and 8/22/10. The victims are unrelated to each other. Per each victim, while in a public place, they were approached by Cabrera who was previously unknown to them. Cabrera feigned a prior acquaintance with the victim and offered assistance in the form of massages. Cabrera would then advance to touching them in a sexually inappropriate manner. At times, Cabrera offered services as a handyman. While in the victims' homes, he requested to shower and then exposed himself. Cabrera often kissed his victims on the face or neck area.

Cabrera has been known to ride a red bicycle or drive a red van. He is described as a male Hispanic, black hair, brown eyes, 5'05", 180 lbs, with a DOB of 4/28/1968.
