MDOT will begin a 6.47 mile asphalt resurfacing project on M-24 (Lapeer Road) from Opdyke Road to Clarkston Road. Staging for the project is already under way and work is expected to begin on September 14, 2010.
• Asphalt milling and resurfacing will be performed at night.
• Crosswalk upgrades and pedestrian signal improvements at various intersections through this corridor will be completed during daytime hours with minimal traffic impact as most of the upgrade work is off the roadway.
