**Crime Watch ALERT** VALLEY WEST CRIME WATCH and surrounding community

On November 5th, 2009 at 9:20 pm, BLRPD officers were dispatched for a report of suspicious activity in the 300 block of Arrowhead Lane in Breinigsville. Specifically, officers were advised that the complainant reported that there were two Hispanic males possibly armed with shotguns. When officers arrived on location and began searching for the males, they were advised that a homeowner on Scenic View Drive had seen the males, who had come to his residence asking to use the phone. A short time later, the males were located in the area of Grim Rd. and Industrial Blvd. The males were taken into custody and arrested for multiple charges.
Despite a large scale search and assistance from the fire department, no weapons were located. BLRPD wishes to advise all homeowners in the in the vicinity of Arrowhead Lane, Twin Ponds Rd., the Valley West Crime Watch, and the Grim/Industrial region, that they should be on the lookout for possible weapons in the area. If located, residents should NOT attempt to secure the weapons; instead, homeowners are asked to contact BLRPD immediately (Lehigh County Non-Emergency line, 610-437-5252).
