Shooting Death Investigation, Lancaster Station
Sheriff's Homicide detectives are en route to the 44600 block of 6th Street East, Lancaster, to investigate the
circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a female Black adult and the wounding of six others.
The victims were transported to a local hospital, where one was pronounced dead.

Sheriff's homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a female and the wounding
of six other people, which occurred Sunday, September 5, 2010, in the 44600 block of 6th Street East, Lancaster.
Detectives have learned the victims included three women and four males, whose ages range between 13 and 26 years of age, and all of whom are residents of the Antelope Valley. The deceased victim has been identified as a 14-year-old girl, who also lived in the Lancaster area.
The victims' identities are being withheld pending notification of relatives and because of their ages.
