VICTIM IDENTITIES RELEASED IN DOUBLE HOMICIDE CASE
Modesto, CA β Two men died after being shot Thursday, October 22nd. There names have been released.
At about 7:20 pm on Thursday, Modesto Police were called to the area of Alturas Avenue and Western Way to investigate the reports of gunshots being fired.
When they arrived they discovered two gunshot victims in the alley behind the 400 block of Alturas Avenue. The men have been identified as 32-year-old Perris (California) resident Gregorio Fernando Mendoza-Gomez and 25-year old Sacramento resident Salvador Benitez-Perez.
No arrests have been made. Detectives still need tips about the murders.
