From July 1st to August 18th, the MSJ area has experienced 12 incidents of vandalism to vehicles or residences, with the last one occurring on August 18th on Bryant St. Most of the incidents involved eggs, ketchup and BBQ sauce being thrown on cars or homes and a few involved vehicle windows being smashed or tires flattened. We also received an incident report of a plastic soda bottle "bomb" being placed under a vehicle and another incident of graffiti on a fence/sidewalk. There are no known suspects but it appears most of the targeted homes involved students who attend MSJ High. We are unsure if the incidents are related but most appear to be the work of juvenile pranksters and we are not willing to rule out other motives at this time.

Residents are encouraged to call 790-6800 and press 3 to report any suspicious vehicles or persons in the area, especially during the hours of 11pm and 6am.
