Advisory

Possible attempted abduction of 4 female juveniles yesterday at Tamina Park in Tamina at the 19000 Block of Main St.

Late yesterday afternoon (10/22/09) Montgomery County Sheriff's Deputies were called to Main Street in the Tamina area in response to four female children that had been approached by a male, who the children said tried to entice them into his car.

Four female juveniles ages 5, 7, 5 and 6 were walking from the park to a nearby residence when a white passenger vehicle (possibly a Chevy Malibu) with a taped up passenger side window pulled up next to them and told them to get in. The children refused.

The vehicle was driven by a white male with a black beard. The children said that the man told them that he was an adult and again told them to get into the vehicle. The girls again refused and ran back to the park and alerted a YMCA teacher.

The children were not injured. The Major Crimes Unit of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office are investigating this incident.
