As a friendly reminder, the Los Angeles Police Department would like business community members to adhere to basic safety principles when conducting business transactions with financial institutions in the North Hollywood Area;

- Always be aware of your surroundings when transporting large amounts of currency or other valuables to and from financial institutions.

- Vary your route to make predictability difficult for individuals that may be following you.

- Use well lit areas for cash deposits during nighttime hours and avoid making excessive cash deposits during hours of darkness.

- Try to use bags that do not identify you or your bank to transport cash and other valuables during business transactions.

- Do not travel alone unless absolutely necessary and you have no other options.
