New Mexico State Police needs your help with double Homicide investigation

Two Found Dead in Burned Camper Santa Rosa—The burned bodies of two people were found Wednesday morning by a rancher 10 miles west of Santa Rosa. The bodies were found in a burned camper on a ranch about 3 miles north of I-40. The New Mexico State Police is currently investigating this as a double-homicide. The victims are believed to have left the Oklahoma City., OK early Monday morning and traveled west towards NM along Interstate 40. The victims were traveling in a white 4-door 2008 Chevrolet pickup truck pulling a light colored 32’ travel trailer. The travel trailer was found west of Santa Rosa and the truck was located at approximately 2:00PM Wednesday abandoned in a parking lot near Edith & Osuna in Albuquerque. Anyone who may have seen this vehicle traveling along I-40 or may have information related to this crime is requested to contact the New Mexico State Police Investigations Bureau.
