ROCKTON AVENUE RE-STRIPPING OPEN HOUSE 
Rockford, IL – Effective August 10, 2010
An Open House will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2010, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., at St. Bernadette Parish Center, 2330 Bell Avenue, Rockford, Illinois, to present proposed striping changes on Rockton Avenue, from north of Auburn Street to north of Lawndale Avenue.
The City of Rockford is proposing a plan to restripe Rockton Avenue as a three lane section. The proposed change is to provide left-turn lanes at intersections on Rockton Avenue, between Auburn Street and Van Wie Avenue. This change will help to improve traffic safety.
The community is invited to attend and provide comments on the proposed.
