This Limited ‘Community Alert’ is being sent to you by The Public Information Office of the San Mateo Police Department, in cooperation with Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center and the North Central San Mateo Project against the abuse of Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD). We at the SMPD take pride in alerting our community partners about activities and current events related to public safety and outstanding neighborhood initiatives.

The North Central San Mateo AOD Project invites you to reveal the hidden treasures in our community. There are so many in our community that work hard to make sure lives are changed, needs are met and futures are brightened. Please help us to recognize “Everyday Heroes” by nominating our outstanding community members so together we can give them the recognition they deserve.
The only requirement is that the “heroes” live in North Central San Mateo!

Nominees will be acknowledged at the “Everyday Heroes” Reception on Friday, August 13th at the Martin Luther King Community Center at 5:30PM.

Nominations will be accepted until August 3rd, 2010 – Feel Free to Drop by and Submit Your Nomination in Person at the National Night Out celebration at the King Center on the evening of August 3rd!
