STREET CLOSURES FOR WEEKEND EVENTS

Rockford, IL – Motorists should be aware of the following event and road closures for the weekend:

Sts. Constantine & Helene Greek Orthodox Church Festival – The Greek Fest will be held on July 24 from noon to 11:00 p.m. and on July 25, from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

In order to set up and clean up for the event, the following streets will be closed from 9:00 a.m. on July 23 to noon on July 26th: Market from State to 4 th St. 5 th St. from State to Jefferson.

Proper traffic control measures will be in place and motorists are urged to use caution while driving in the area as an increase in pedestrian traffic is expected. Organizers invite neighbors and visitors to help celebrate this great event. Everyone’s patience and cooperation is appreciated.
