OAK RIDGE NORTH POLICE BORDER REPORT

Del Rio Sector:
1. Maverick Co. SO took custody of a subject with an outstanding warrant following a records check at the Eagle Pass POE #1.
2. USBP arrested one IA who presented a false residence card following an immigration inspection at the US-57 Checkpoint, Maverick Co. The subject was turned over to the Val Verde Detention Facility pending court proceedings.

Laredo Sector:
3. CBP-OFO Officers seized 38.7 lbs of heroin, a 2003 Honda CRV (MX plates) and arrested one subject at the Gateway to Americas Bridge #1.
4. CBP-OFO Officers seized 82 lbs of marijuana, a 1996 Honda Accord, and arrested one subject at the Lincoln-Juárez Bridge #2.
5. CBP-OFO Officers seized 14.66 lbs of cocaine, 4.4 lbs of methamphetamine, a 2004 Dodge pickup (MX plates), and arrested one subject at the Lincoln-Juárez Bridge #2.

Rio Grande Valley Sector:
6. Kenedy Co. SO arrested a USC for an outstanding felony warrant (aggravated assault with a deadly weapon) out of Hendry Co. FL, at the Sarita Checkpoint. The subject self-identified as an ex-member of the ―Gangster Disciples.‖ The subject was booked into the Kenedy Co. jail to await extradition to FL.
7. CBP-OFO Officers seized 15.2 lbs of methamphetamine, a 1990 Nissan Maxima (TX plates), and arrested one subject. The methamphetamine was concealed inside the lining of a suitcase stowed in the trunk of the vehicle.
8. USCG detained one IA following the boarding a vessel off of South Padre Island, Cameron Co. One of the crew members self-admitted to being an IA and was referred to USBP.

Coastal Bend Sector:
9. McMullen Co SO seized a 2006 Ford F-150, a 1996 Ford Explorer, and arrested one subject. The Deputy noted that the vehicle he stopped was traveling in tandem with a second vehicle that continued on. The Deputy later found the second vehicle and all the occupants (estimated to be 6-12) had absconded.
10. McMullen Co SO detained one subject and seized a 1997 Ford pickup following a traffic stop near Tilden. The subject was referred to USBP.
11. Orange Grove PD seized $9,389 following a traffic stop. The driver gave a statement that the currency was not his, and he was released.
12. Robstown PD seized 0.02 lbs of cocaine and $1,300 following execution of a search warrant at a residence.
13. Victoria PD seized 1.11 lbs of marijuana, one marijuana plant, a stolen Beretta handgun, and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia following a ―knock and talk‖ and written consent to enter a residence.
14. THP seized 26.4 lbs of cocaine, a 2008 Dodge 1500 pickup, and arrested two USCs following a traffic stop on US-59 near Victoria, Victoria Co. The cocaine was concealed in compartments in the driver and passenger side door posts.

El Paso Sector:
15. El Paso Co. SO seized 0.013 of marijuana, a 2004 Nissan pickup, and arrested two subjects on outstanding warrants following a traffic stop.
16. El Paso PD recovered three stolen vehicles in three separate incidents, two at the Bridge of the Americas POE, and one at the Paso Del Norte Bridge POE. In all three cases the vehicles were turned over to the insurance agents who had recovered them in Mexico.
17. El Paso PD responded to the Bridge of the Americas POE to take custody of a USC who was detained on outstanding warrants by CBP-OFO Officers after the subject tried to enter the US.
18. El Paso PD seized a total of 0.2 lbs of cocaine, 0.02 lbs of marijuana, four vehicles, and arrested 35 subjects in 25 separate events. Of those arrested, 20 were for possession of drugs, 22 involved outstanding warrants, five involved charges of assault or aggravated assault, and six are identified as gang members (Folk Nation – 1, Gangster Disciples – 1, Lopez Maravilla – 1, Segundo Varrio – 1, One Nation Alone – 1, Varrio Glenwood – 1).
19. El Paso PD seized 39.3 lbs of marijuana and arrested three subjects following execution of a search warrant on a residence.
20. CBP-OFO Officers seized 387.7 lbs of marijuana, a 1993 GMC Vandura, and arrested one USC at the Bridge of the Americas POE.
21. CBP-OFO Officers seized 3.3 lbs of marijuana and arrested one subject at the Paso Del Norte Bridge POE. The marijuana was concealed on the pedestrian’s person.
22. CBP-OFO Officers seized 2.1 lbs of marijuana and arrested one subject at the Paso Del Norte Bridge POE. The marijuana was concealed on the pedestrian’s person.
Marfa Sector
23. USBP assisted by a K-9 seized 0.1 lbs of marijuana, 0.02 lbs of hashish, three vehicles, and arrested six USCs in three separate incidents at the Sierra Blanca Checkpoint. The subjects, vehicles and contraband were turned over to Hudspeth Co. SO.
24. USBP apprehended two IAs on US-90 near Alpine, Brewster Co.

New Mexico:
25. CBP-OFO Officers seized 88.5 lbs of abandoned marijuana near the IH-10 Checkpoint, Las Cruces, NM.
26. CBP-OFO Officers seized 56 lbs of marijuana, a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and arrested one USC at the Columbus, NM POE. The marijuana was concealed within the vehicle’s floor.
27. CBP-OFO Officers seized 123 lbs of marijuana, a 1999 Ford Explorer (VIN altered), and arrested one USC at the Santa Teresa, NM POE.
28. CBP-OFO Officers seized 222.1 lbs of marijuana, a 1992 Ford Econoline van, and arrested a USC at the US-54 Checkpoint, Alamogordo, NM. The marijuana was concealed between the roof and the liner of the van.

Statewide (Texas):
29. THP seized 0.077 lbs of marijuana, $16,261, a 2004 Cadillac 4-door, and arrested one USC following a traffic stop on IH-20 near Weatherford, Parker Co.
30. THP seized $32,200, a 2000 Nissan Maxima, and arrested one USC following a traffic stop on IH-30 near Mount Pleasant, Titus Co. The currency was packaged in a manner consistent with narcotics smuggling, and contained in a duffle bag in the vehicle.
31. DPS CID Houston seized 0.62 lbs of cocaine, $34,673, a 2006 Dodge Ram, two assault rifles (Ruger .223cal carbine and RomArms AK-47 carbine), five
handguns (three Glock .40cal, a Ruger 9mm, and a Jimenez Arms .380cal), and arrested one subject, following execution of search warrants on a residence. Two of the handguns were recovered stolen items, and one other handgun was reported stolen during a homicide. Other seized items were a money counter, two safes, a kilo press, a computer, camera equipment, and tactical gear. The subject was identified as an deported felon who had re-entered the US illegally. Federal charges are pending.
