Narrative:
Sheriff’s Narcotic Detectives received information that Daniel Brewster was selling heroin from his residence in the 900 block of Poli St. in the city of Ventura. Brewster was seen conducting several suspected narcotics transactions near his home. On 7-7-2010, detectives served a signed search warrant at Brewster’s residence where he and Shannon Barrett were located. The subsequent search revealed 24 balloons of heroin packaged for sale, methamphetamine packaged for sale, and a pair of brass knuckles. Brewster was arrested for possession of heroin and methamphetamine for sale, possession of an illegal weapon and maintaining a place where narcotics were used. Barrett was arrested for possession of heroin and methamphetamine for sale, possession of a narcotic smoking device and maintaining a place where narcotics were used. Both were booked into the Sheriff’s Main Jail.
