B&E of tree trimming co. results in 18 chain saws and equip. stolen. Up to $1,000 reward for conviction of suspect.

A break-in at a tree service company on M-106 resulted in the theft of eighteen chain saws, a quantity of tree trimming tools and equipment and climbing gear and lines. Unadilla Township Police stated some time between Saturday night and Sunday morning, some one broke into the business and removed the items from a storage building. Because of the large quantity of equipment, police believe it would have taken a considerable amount of time to remove the equipment from the storage building and load it up into a trailer or vehicle. A reward fund of up to $1,000 has been established for the identification and conviction of those persons responsible for this crime. Any one having information regarding this break-in is asked to call Unadilla Township Police at (734) 498-2325, Ext. 302 or they can contact police by email at
