Officers respond to Walgreens on Decoto Rd regarding a fraudulent prescription for Oxycotin. The prescription was dropped off at the pharmacy by the suspect on 05/16/88. The suspect is located walking around inside the store when she is contacted by Officer Francisco. The suspect attempts to flee from Ofc. Franscisco, but is quickly taken into custody. Suspect is booked into jail for several violations.

34000 blk of Barnfield Pl- RP called 911 to report that someone had just kicked in his front door. He heard two voices yelling as he was running out the back of the house. FPD responds and determines that the suspect (s) forced their way through the front door and then through a bedroom door. An area search failed to locate the suspect(s). The resident had marijuana in the house before but believes the suspect(s) were looking to kill him because of a prior incident. Nothing was taken from the house and no Marijuana in the house tonight.

Incident: Sales of Tobacco Products to Minors

Location: Businesses within the City of Fremont

Date/Time of Incident: June 12 and 19, 2010

In an effort to alleviate the devastating effects of smoking and comply with the law, the Fremont Police Department implemented a comprehensive program enforcing tobacco control laws in the city with help from an enforcement grant from the Department of Health Services, Tobacco Control Section.

On June 12 and 19, 2010, officers from the Fremont Police Department conducted another Youth Decoy Operation. A total of (131) locations were visited on these dates. (10) of the (131) merchants contacted illegally sold cigarettes to minors, ages 15 and 17. The officers witnessing these transactions issued citations in all (10) cases. The overall sales rate of selling tobacco products to a minor was 7.6%.The sale of tobacco products to a minor (under 18) is a misdemeanor, which carries a penalty up to a $1000 fine, depending on prior offenses.
