Hopkinton Fire/Rescue EMS Providers are currently in NEED of DEDICATED Volunteers. One of, if not THE BEST way to give back to our community! Call (603)746-3181 or better yet, Stop by the Contoocook Station during business hours (barring calls for service...) and speak to ANY representative! We are currently responsible for OVER 128 square miles as First Responding Units, (We maintain 10 vehicals - Rescue maintains 2 plus 1 boat) but we belong to the Capital Area Fire Compact and have responded to calls for service from Peterborough to Hooksett, Northwood to Alton (twice). Salisbury & Bradford to Hillsborough. We expect our BRAND NEW ambulance the end of this month hopefully. We are looking for donations for new "thermal imaging" cameras to replace our unserviceable 10+ year old ones. We are testing "demo" units for evaluations. We had 1036 calls in 2009!!
