George St. Beautification Project: Road Closures: Livingston Ave., Liberty St. & George St.: See website for details. 
The George Street Beautification Project - Phase II will commence on June 22, 2010 with the following road closures:
Livingston Avenue will be closed from the George Street Playhouse Theater to George Street. Livingston Avenue will be open to "Local Traffic Only" from New Street to the Heldrich Hotel.
Liberty Street will be closed to "Thru-Traffic" accessing George Street from Neilson Street. Liberty Street "Local Traffic Only" will be permitted to utilize the street in both directions (two-way traffic) while the access to George Street is closed. This closure will be in effect from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday.
The George Street intersection at Livingston Avenue/Liberty Street will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
George Street will be closed from Bayard Street to Livingston Avenue/Liberty Street intersection.
George Street will be closed to "Thru-Traffic" from New Street to Livingston Avenue. "Local Traffic Only" may utilize George Street from New Street to Liberty Street but will be required to turn-around as access thru the intersection of Livingston Avenue will be closed.
The above closures will remain in effect until further notice.
