The Northfield Township Police Department has taken two reports of attempted Break-in's to residences over the past 24 hours in the subdivision at East Shore and Main St.

In both of the reports, the reporting persons indicated that someone attempted to gain entry into their homes by either front door or window. No entry was gained in either incident. Residents should be mindful of any vulnerability that would invite a wood-be theft to take advantage of the situation. Secure your homes as best as possible and illicit the help of neighbors to look out for one another when you’re not home. But most importantly, call the police to report ANY suspicious persons or activity.
