DAWSON AVENUE WATER MAIN REHABILITATION

Work will continue along Dawson Avenue from Rural Street to Crosby Street and Crosby from James Avenue to London Avenue. Many intersections are closed or down to one lane. Please obey road closed signs or use an alternate route. Please use caution when traveling in the area!


MEADOWS OF SPRINGBROOK SPECIAL ASSESSMENT #112

The contractor for Meadows of Springbrook is working on parkway restoration and punch list items to complete the project.Work should be complete by the end of May weather permitting.

ZONE CONTROL VALVES A total of 10 zone computerized control valves are being installed throughout the city to help control water pressures. Two of the valves are already complete and crews are working on Lyford Road site just north of East State Street.

Installation has started on the zone control valve on Spring Creek Road across from Springdale Drive. The rest of the valves will continue throughout the summer. The project is expected to be complete by the end of November.



MORSAY BRIDGE RHABILITATION

On Monday June 21, 2010 Morsay Drive will be closed for bridge construction. The bridge is located on Morsay Drive just east of Fairview Blvd. The bridge is recievieng a total deck replacement. Completion is scheduled on September 17, 2010. Please follow the appropriate detours and use extreme caution driving in the area.


KISHWAUKEE ST BRIDGE PROJECT

Crews are working on Kishwaukee Street Bridge Project from Pope Avenue to Buckbee Street. Crews are finishing sidewalk installation and building block retaining walls. Outside lane closures will occur for the duration of this work. Please use extreme caution while driving in the area.


KISHWAUKEE STREET RESURFACING ( HARRISON - BROOKE ) Crews will be installing concrete patches for the next two weeks. There will be lane closures during the construction of this project. Please use extreme caution while driving in this area. There is scheduled completion date of July 9, 2010 weather permitting.
