Police Investigate Convenience Store Robbery
On June 16 around 10: 10 p.m. Jackson Police received a call of a robbery at Hollywood Express, 2255 Hollywood Drive.
Investigation thus far has shown that a man entered the business, selected items and placed them on the counter. When the clerk opened the register, the man displayed a knife, reached over the counter, grabbed the cash drawer and left on foot in the direction of Days Inn. The clerk was not injured.
The suspect was described as a black man, 30 to 35-years-old. He was about 160 pounds, medium build and was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black t-shirt and blue jeans.
