THE SKOKIE POLICE DEPARTMENT
ENTERS A NEW ERA IN COMMUNICATIONS!
On Thursday, June 17, 2010, the Skokie Police Department will launch a new and improved way of communicating with citizens. Along with the new community-based web information system called NIXLE, we further our efforts by presenting a new Village-wide communications program.
This program will be directly linked through the Village website at (www.skokie.org), under the Crime Prevention Hyperlink.
The Hyperlink will provide citizens with Crime Alerts, which alert citizens to criminal activity in their neighborhoods. The link will also allow citizens to easily navigate through the website and find community events and other police activities.
