West State Street Linear Park Design Workshop 
Rockford IL - On Thursday, June 17, 2010, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the City of Rockford is hosting an Open House/Workshop to discuss the West State Street Linear Park Project.
The meeting will be held in the third floor meeting room (Founder’s Education Center) at the Crusader Community Health, 1200 West State Street, Rockford, Illinois. (Enter on the West Side under the Blue Awning).
The purpose of the Design Workshop is to present framework concepts and gather comments regarding the construction of Linear Parks along the West State Street Corridor with residents, property owners, business owners, and interested members of the public. Representatives from the City of Rockford and Terry Guen Design Associates (TGDA) will be present to give an overview of the project, address issues, and gather additional information from the public and stakeholders.
You are invited to attend the Design Workshop to engage in the stakeholder planning process for this project. Members from TGDA, and the City of Rockford will be present to conduct the Design Workshop.
