**HEATHERFIELD CRIME WATCH**

On 09/10/09 BLRPD Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Sawgrass for a theft of a lawn ornament. Victim reports that a 4 ft. high, 100 lb. wooden bear with the words “welcome” carved into the front was removed from his yard. The bear was last seen on Wednesday, 9/9/09 at 9:00 pm, and was observed to be missing at 6:30 am the next morning.

On 09/10/09 officers also responded to a home in the 5800 block of Winterberry Place. There, a resident advised that a 3 ft. high red brick light house was taken from his property. The light house had a solar panel on the top, which was scratched. This house weighed approx. 65 lbs.

Lastly, on 09/10/09, officers were dispatched to another home in the 400 block of Sawgrass for an addition theft report. This victim reports a white wicker stand, a Penn State lion statue, and 5 solar lights were taken from his home. The victim reports that the items were believed to have been still at the property at 8:20 am that morning.
