Sachse remembers those who answer the call for help on 911 day
Special Report – 911 Day
With today marking the 8th anniversary of the September 11th attacks on our country, we hope all will remember those who were killed in the cowardly attacks in New York, Washington DC and Pennsylvania. 2,500 Citizens along with 343 Firefighters and 72 Police Officers died that day. In all of America’s history, this single day was the largest loss of life for police officers and firefighters.
Before September 11th became a day of remembrance in our country, it was a day of celebration. We used to celebrate the men and women who work the 911 call centers across the country.
So please, as you take time to remember those killed in the attacks on our country, take a moment to honor those who pick up the phone on the other end when you call for help.
