Rockford – Effective June 9th, 2010



Day Avenue Reconstruction

Construction on the roadway will continue during the week of June 14th. Construction will include new road surface, curbs, storm pipes and selective sidewalk replacement. Total project completion is currently scheduled for late June.



City Wide Street Repair Program

Construction on the City Wide Street Repair program will continue during the week of June 14th and proceed throughout the year. Repairs include but are not limited to blacktop patching, small curb repairs, sidewalk installation and drainage repairs. Residents at each location will be notified via hand delivered letters. Construction is anticipated to take no longer than 2 weeks at each individual location.



Hecker Avenue Reconstruction

Construction on the roadway will continue during the week of June 14th. Please note that the intersection of Fulton and Hecker Avenue may be periodically closed to traffic throughout the next two weeks. Construction will include new road surface, curbs, water pipes, storm pipes and selective sidewalk replacement. Total project completion is currently scheduled for late June.



Residential Resurfacing Program

Construction on the 2010 Residential Resurfacing Program will continue during the week of June 14th and proceed through mid summer. As a part of this project we will be resurfacing various neighborhood streets throughout the city along with providing spot curb repair, storm inlet repairs and manhole adjustments. Work at each individual location is anticipated to last approximately six weeks.
