Chicago Police Department's Grand Crossing (3rd) District Hosts "Bridging the Gap" Anti-Violence Event for CPS Students

WHAT: In advance of the beginning of summer school, 3rd District police and CPS personnel, in conjunction with the G.R.E.A.T. (Gang Resistance Education and Training) program, will host an outdoor anti-violence event. As part of the Department's on-going efforts to combat youth violence, representatives will deliver an anti-gang message as well as address the topics of conflict resolution and breaking the 'code of silence.'
