2010 Water System Rehabilitation Plan 
DAWSON AVENUE WATER MAIN REHABILITATION
There will be parkway restoration on Lundvall Avenue from Guilford Road to Rural Street. Work will also continue along Dawson Avenue from Rural Street to Crosby Street and Crosby from James Avenue to London Avenue. Please obey road closed signs and follow the detour or use an alternate route. Please use caution when traveling in the area!
MEADOWS OF SPRINGBROOK SPECIAL ASSESSMENT #112
The contractor for Meadows of Springbrook is working on parkway restoration and punch list items to complete the project. Work should be complete by the end of May weather permitting.
ZONE CONTROL VALVES
A total of 10 zone computerized control valves are being installed throughout the city to help control water pressures. Two of the valves are already complete and the next installation will be installed on Lyford Road just north of East State Street. Installation could be started on the zone control valve on Spring Creek Road across from Springdale Drive. The rest of the valves will continue throughout the summer. The project is expected to be complete by the end of November.
On Going CIP Projects Update
KISHWAUKEE ST BRIDGE PROJECT
Crews are working on Kishwaukee Street Bridge Project from Pope Avenue to Buckbee Street. At the intersection of Kishwaukee and Lewis Street crews will be working on traffic signals. A second crew is backfilling the curb and prepping for sidewalk installation. Outside lane closures will occur for the duration of this work. Please use extreme caution while driving in the area.
KISHWAUKEE STREET RESURFACING ( HARRISON - BROOKE PROJECT
This resurfacing project will start on 06/07/2010. Crews will be milling and patching along with manhole adjustments. It will have two layer of blacktop with new permanent striping of two lanes with a center bi-directional turn lane. There will be lane closures during the construction of this project. Please use extreme caution while driving in this area. Scheduled completion date of July 9, 2010 weather permitting.
