Burglaries reported-Request residents to be vigilant and keep an eye on their neighbors homes and local business. 
On May 24, 2010, the RPD responded to an alarm at Alexander's Restaurant at approx. 0357 am. Upon arrival it was determined that an attempt to break into the building had occurred. The suspect(s) may have been scared off by the alarm or the responding officers who arrived within 5 minutes. At 1:49 pm, RPD received a report of a burglary at a Oak Street residence. The suspect(s) did gain entry into the home and a theft occurred. These two incidents do not appear to be related.
Rollinsford Police are reminding all to always keep windows and doors locked and to report anything out of the ordinary, no matter how trivial it may appear.
