A WORD ABOUT THEFT PREVENTION
TO THE CITIZENS OF CALVERT COUNTY
The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind the citizens of Calvert County to make sure that all doors and windows of their homes are always locked and to lock all vehicles, secure the keys, and put technical devices such as Ipods, GPS systems, cameras and cell phones out of sight. This reminder comes after a recent rash of thefts of automobiles in the Huntingtown area. In each instance, the car had been left unlocked with the keys inside. These acts, which take only minutes to do each day, will help to prevent unwanted theft and damage to personal property. Anyone observing any suspicious activity is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office immediately at 410-535-2800.
