Northbound Matlock Rd at Milton Dr is closed due to a female pedestrian being struck by a truck. Woman died at scene. 
Arlington police responded to a call Thursday, May 13, 2010, at about 5:45 a.m. regarding a pickup truck striking a pedestrian in the roadway. Witnesses described seeing a female in her mid-20s step into the roadway as a pickup truck headed north on Matlock Road at Milton Drive. The female was hit by the truck and pronounced dead at the scene. Northbound Matlock remained closed between Westbrook and Milton drives due to the fatal wreck, which remains under investigation.
The woman’s name will be released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner once she is identified and next of kin have been notified.
