Armed robbery at Ace Cash Express, Beaumont.

This morning at 10:20 a.m., Officers responded to an Aggravated Robbery that occurred at the Ace Cash Express, 150 N. 11th. According to the clerk, the white male suspect entered into the business and robbed the her at gunpoint. The clerk had her 7 year old daughter with her at the time but no one was injured. He stole an undisclosed amount of cash and demanded her car keys. He then stole her vehicle. He did tell her that he would leave her vehicle just a few blocks away, and he did. BPD recovered the stolen vehicle near Liberty and 12th street.
The suspect is described as a tall, thin white male, possibly around 60 years of age, light colored feathered style haircut that is parted on the left, silver framed glasses, possible light moustache, long sleeved western style snap up white shirt with breast pockets, blue jeans and brown boots. He was wearing a large dark faced watch on his left wrist. He had a silver handgun.
